Dr. Kado is very experienced in sports medicine and treats many runners and athletes. He is actively involved in physical fitness and has the personal understanding of the needs of an athletic individual. He treats patients with care and concern but uses all the knowledge he has attained over the past thirty plus years in practice. Dr. Kado attends continuing education seminars each year as part of continuing medical education to keep himself knowledgeable regarding advances in his field of medicine. He is certified in Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), which is an innovative, in-office, non-invasive treatment modality for patients suffering from chronic tendon, heel and arch pain. Recently, Dr. Kado has been using amniotic tissue injections for treatment of chronic tendonitis and degenerative arthritis in patients that have failed conservative therapy but are not surgical candidates. In addition, Dr. Kado is also Medicare approved to dispense extra depth shoes with custom and heat molded inserts for all diabetic patients who qualify. Diabetic foot care is an important part of this practice including teaching diabetic patients about the importance of proper foot care for long term health.
