Biography

I have been in practice for over 30 years in Bergen County, NJ. For many years, I have focused on Podiatric surgery and pathology of the foot. Today, I focus on the prevention of that foot pathology. I have always had a love for pediatrics and believe that if I can catch foot malalignment in the young, by the time they are teenagers, we have avoided many of the problems their parents have faced. My pediatric patients start at 2 years of age and go to adulthood at 18. Starting early with Podiatric care can help a child’s growth and performance.

Athletes have problems with running and injuries such as shin splints, tendinitis, strains, and sprains which I’ve been treating for many years. Some of these injuries could have been avoided if examined as children. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I also love my geriatric patients. They are an ever-growing population that requires my utmost care. I focus on diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, Athlete’s foot, fungal toenails, and an array of other podiatric conditions.

I am a firm believer in the benefits of orthotics and I cast my patients with plaster of Paris. It may be messy and time-consuming, but it allows me to make the best possible device for my patients.
